Officer with the LPD conducted a business watch in the area of S. Sherman Avenue. After an investigation was conducted, one adult female was arrested, transported and booked into the Hockley County Jail.
10/11/2023 - 1500 block of Austin Street - 9:11 P.M.
Officers with the LPD conducted a warrant service at a residence within the area. Following a field investigation, one male individual was arrested for his local warrant.
10/11/2023 - 200 block of Avenue L - 6:18 P.M.
Officers with the LPD conducted a warrant service at a residence within the area. After a field investigation, one male individual was placed under arrest.

Officers with the LPD met with a complainant at a residence in the area. Following a field investigation, the officers notified a social service program in efforts to assist the elderly individual.
10/10/2023 - 1200 block of Avenue H - 11:03 P.M.
An officer with the LPD patrolling the area conducted a traffic stop. An arrest was later made for Possession of Marijuana less than two ounces in a drug-free zone.

10/8/2023 - 1400 block of College Avenue - 8:58 P.M.
Officers with the LPD received a police radio call to Gerstenburger Hall in reference to found property. Officers seized a vape pen suspected to contain THC.
10/8/2023 - 1900 block of S. College Avenue - 7:43 P.M.
Officers received a police radio call to the area for an animal complaint involving a dog bite. Officers were able to make contact with the female victim and male subject. The dog was secured at the owner’s residence at the time.
10/8/2023 - 300 block of 9th Street - 1:23 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to a residence in the area in regard to a disturbance. An arrest was made as of a result with the report stating Assault Family Violence.
10/7/2023 - 600 block of Cherry Street - 5:20 P.M.
Officers with the LPD received a radio call to a residence within the area regarding found property. Officers made contact with the homeowner who had found a firearm in his yard. Officers seized the firearm at that point in time.

An officer with the LPD was dispatched to a residence within the area regarding a disturbance. A report was taken as a result.

An officer with the LPD responded to a residence within the area in reference to a burglary. A report was generated.
10/7/2023 - 300 block of Brentwood Drive - 2:22 A.M.
Officers with the LPD received a radio call to a residence within the area in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with two female individuals of the residence. Upon further investigation, officers were able to identify possible suspects involved in the assault.

An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a damaged vehicle. A report was taken as a result.

An officer was dispatched to a residence within the area in reference to a disturbance. An arrest was made as a result.

An officer with the LPD was informed a female individual wanted to speak with an officer. After conducting a field investigation, a report was made.

An officer with the LPD responded to Covenant Emergency Room regarding an assault. A report for Assault Family Violence was made.

An officer with the LPD responded to a residence within the area regarding an assault. Upon arrival, a field investigation was conducted. As a result, one male individual was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Member and Obstruction or Retalitation.

Officers with the LPD received a police radio call to a residence within the are regarding an animal complaint involving a dog bite. Officers were able to make contact with a male victim and female subject. The dog was secured at the owner’s residence.
10/2/2023 - 1400 block of College Avenue - 5:49 P.M.
Officers with the LPD received a radio call to the 200 block of LC Kearney Drive in reference to a welfare check on a male subject. Upon further investigation, the male subject was placed under emergency detention and transported to Sunrise Canyon Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
