The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, April 18, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building Boardroom.
The following items are slated for the meeting: Presentations; Call to order; Public Forum; Approval of minutes; Approval of superintendent credit card charges; Consider financial report; Consider IMA and TEKS certifications; Consider instructional materials for 2024-2025; Consider device replacement purchase; Consider safety and security equipment purchase;
Reports will include: Safety and Security Report, board members’ continuing education hours report, Student Fundraising Report, Athletic Report, Academic Report, budget parameters for 2024-2025, Superintendent Report and Board Report; Personnel update will include: superintendent approved professional new hires and personnel information;
Executive Session: if, during the course of the meeting the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session is required, then such closed or executive meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq., will be held by the School Board in such closed or executive meeting concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act including, but not limited to the following sections and purposes: Texas Government Code Section: 551.071,551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.075, 551.076, 551.082,551.083,551.084,551.0821, 551.087; Discuss professional probationary and term contracts and non-certified contracts; Discuss recommended professional new hires; Superintendent formative evaluation; Open session will include: consider professional probationary and term contracts and non-certified contracts, and consider recommended professional new hires.
