The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees will be holding a regular meeting Tuesday, March 14, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building Boardroom.
Items slated for the meeting are as follows:Presentations Invocation/Pledge of Allegiance; Call to order; Public forum; Oath of Office; Election of Officers; Public hearing, federal and state funded program applications; Consent items, approval of minutes and approval of superintendent credit card charges; Consider financial report; Budget parameters for 2024-- 2025;
Consider bid for Trust Property in City of Levelland; Consider purchase of child nutrition equipment; Consider math curriculum; Designation of delegate and alternate delegate for TASA, TASB Fall Convention; Reports from LABC, Capitol, South, District Facilities Report, Student Fundraising Report, Parent and Family Engagement Survey Report, Staff Culture and Climate Survery Report, Community Survey Report, Academic Report, Superintendent Report and Board Report; Personnel, superintendent approved professional new hires and personnel information. Executive Session, if, during the course of the meeting the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session is required, then such closed or executive meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq., will be held by the School Board in such closed or executive meeting concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including, but not limited to the following sections and purposes: Texas Government Code Section: 551.071,551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.075, 551.076, 551.082,551.083, 551.084, 551.0821, 551.087, discuss recommended professional new hires and superintendent formative evaluation; Open Session; and Consider recommended professional new hires.
