Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar will distribute $1.2 billion in local sales tax allocations for November, which is a 1.1% increase from November 2023’s total allocations.
The distribution was outlined in a Nov. 6 press release from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
Cities received $754 million in allocations for a 0.4% increase from November 2023. It is a 1.6% year-to-date increase.
Transit systems received $243 million in allocations for a 0.4% increase from November 2023. It is a 1.4% year-to-date increase.
Counties received $71.7 million in allocations for a 2.2% increase from November 2023. It is a 1.5% year-to-date increase.
Special purpose districts received $116.4 million in allocations for a 7.3% increase from November 2023. It is a 4.5% year-to-date increase.
November’s total payments for Hockley and Cochran County cities were outlined in the Monthly Sales Tax Allocation Comparison Summary Reports.
The total payment to Levelland was $421,443.22, a 0.13% increase from last November’s $420,861.46 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Levelland was about $4.518 million, a 1.64% decrease from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of about $4.593 million.
The total payment to Anton was $10,243.53, a 6.15% increase from last November’s $9,649.60 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Anton was $103,711.12, a 4.99% increase from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $98,777.79.
The total payment to Opdyke West was $742.51, an 89.46% increase from last November’s $391.89 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Opdyke West was $5,363.60, a 25.21% increase from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $4,283.52.
The total payment to Ropesville was $13,243.19, a 9.72% increase from last November’s $12,069.46 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Ropesville was $132,206.37, a 2.79% increase from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $128,615.22.
The total payment to Smyer was $6,395.70, a 7.95% increase from last November’s $5,924.62 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Smyer was $69,072.65, a 15.84% increase from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $59,626.63.
The total payment to Sundown was $59,462.50, a 69.30% increase from last November’s $35,121.28 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Sundown was $423,568.46, a 10.97% decrease from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $475,794.16.
The total payment to Morton was $13,364.95, a 6.51% increase from last November’s $12,547.27 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Morton was $141,748.06, a 4.20% decrease from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $147,977.56.
The total payment to Whiteface was $2,886.73, a 16.73% decrease from last November’s $3,466.87 payment.
The year-to-date payment to Whiteface was $34,723.49, an 4.76% increase from the November 2023 year-to-date payment of $33,142.90.
