Lynn County wreck results in four deaths

A two vehicle wreck on Highway 380 and FM 179 resulted in four deaths and three injured in Lynn County, Sunday.

According to a Department of Public Safety report, around 2:30 p.m., a 2017 Lincoln MKC was traveling south along FM 179 when the driver disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 380.

This resulted in an impact with a 2023 Dodge Ram pickup traveling west along the highway.

The driver of the Lincoln, Laurel Bush, 35 of Cleburne, was transported to UMC in Lubbock for her injuries. The two passengers were minors, ages one-year-old and 17-years-old. The one-year-old was transported to Covenant Children’s for her injuries, but the 17-year-old passenger was transported to Lynn County Hospital in Tahoka where she later died from her injuries.

In the Dodge Ram, the driver and passenger Armando and Joy Yglesias of Rockwall were pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger, Albert Yglesias was transported to Lynn County Hospital where he later also sucumbed to his injuries. The third passenger, Michelle Yglesias survived, but was taken to UMC in Lubbock via Aerocare.
