Memorial services for Floreine Carroway, 78, of Levelland, formerly of Sundown, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 17, at Park Drive Baptist Church, with Brother Gil Ramirez officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland. She passed away September
9, 2022, in Levelland. Floreine was born January 26, 1944, to : J.D. and Pearl H. Choate, in Whiteface. She married William Cooney Carroway in 1989, in Arkansan.
Floreine was a professional custodian for Sundown Independent School District for more than 17 years. She was a member of Park Drive Baptist Church of Levelland.
She was preceded in death by her spouse of 16 years, William “Cooney” Carroway; and four siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Bray Reyes of Tucson, Arizona; sons: Albert Bray and Ottis Bray, both of Levelland and Phillip (Jenifer) Bray of Post; brother, Gerald Choate of Levelland; four grandchildren: Jacob Bray, Taylor Dalby, Kierstyn Newsom and Kylee Newsom; and three greatgrandchildren: Braxton Bray, Wilson Dalby and Ellie Dalby.
