An officer responded to the area in reference to a stolen vehicle. After investigation, the officer generated a report on the vehicle.
11/30/22 - 6:20 AM - 1700 block of W Highway 114
An officer patrolling the area observed a vehicle at a speed higher than the limit resulting in a traffic stop. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for a warrant.
11/27/22 - 5:53 PM - 1300 block of Avenue H
Officers were dispatched to the Hockley County Jail for an individual turning themself in on an outstanding warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the individual was taken to jail without incident.
11/26/22 - 10:50 PM - 500 block of N Cedar Avenue
An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area for speeding and failure to signal while turning. After investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for the possession of a controlled substance and an active warrant.
11/26/22 - 12:15 AM - 100 block of Alamo Road
An officer responded to the area in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report for assault family violence was made with one individual being taken into custody.
11/25/22 - 11:24 PM - Houston Avenue and Austin Avenue
An officer made contact with an individual in an alley way where narcotics were recovered.
11/22/22 - 11:13 PM - 1100 block of Sherman Avenue
An officer responded to the area in reference to a city ordinance violation, park curfew. An arrest was later made for possessing a controlled substance penalty group two, possessing between four grams and 400 grams.
11/22/22 - 10:22 PM - 1600 block of Sixth St
An officer was informed by the Criminal Investigations Division that a wanted individual was possibly in the area. After conducting an investigation, one individual was under arrest for a local warrant.
11/21/22 - 1:44 PM - 100 block of Avenue H
An officer patrolling the area conducted a traffic stop resulting in the arrest of an individual for possessing marijuana.
11/19/22 – 10:10 AM – 1400 block of Second St
An officer observed a wanted subject in the area and was apprehended. The individual was transported to Hockley County Jail.
