An officer responded to University Square apartments regarding a welfare check. The incident report states an unattended death at the complex.

An officer responded to a residence regarding criminal trespass. No arrests were made.
2/5/2023 - 10:12 AM - 1700 block of McKinley
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in regard to three unwanted individuals. After a field investigation, two individuals were arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail without incident.
2/5/2023 - 8 AM - 100 block of E Ellis Street
Officers were dispatched to a building in the area in reference to a burglary. After further investigation, it was determined that no items were taken, but the front door was damaged during the burglary.
2/5/2023 - 12:47 AM - 400 block of Avenue K
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a runaway. A report was made for a runaway and the juvenile was entered into the system.
2/4/2023 - 4:42 AM - 1700 block of McKinley
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a suspicious person at the front door. Upon arrival, the officer located an intoxicated individual. After further investigation, the individual was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
2/3/2023 - 10:08 PM - 500 block of S College Avenue
Officers were dispatched to United Supermarket in reference to a suspicious male individual yelling and punching the air. The male individual was located and was issued a criminal trespass warning for that location. The individual was later arrested for failing to adhere to the warning.
1/31/2023 - 12:49 AM - 200 block of S College Avenue
Multiple officers were dispatched to AllSups convenience store in reference to a disturbance. It was determined that an individual was previously issued a criminal trespass warning for that specific location. After confirming the criminal trespass, the individual was arrested for the violation of the warning.
1/30/2023 - 5:30 PM - 400 block of E Highway 114
An officer was approached at the Hockley County Law Enforcement Center by a female who wanted to report her purse was possibly stolen at Walmart in Levelland. Through the investigative process, the purse was located and returned to the reporting party without incident.
