An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to criminal mischief and assault that occurred. The reporting party requested to file charges for simple assault and criminal mischief.
2/20/2023 – 4:44 PM – 1300 block of Avenue H
An officer responded to the law enforcement center to meet with a complainant who was wanted. An arrest was made.
2/19/2023 - 11:51 AM - 200 block of 11th Street
An officer was contacted by an individual with an active arrest warrant. One adult female was placed under arrest and a report was later made.
2/19/2023 - 9:30 AM - 200 block of Yale Drive
An officer responded to a residence in the area in reference to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later found at a friend’s house of the resident. No charges were pursued.
2/16/2023 - 1:53 PM - 400 block of E HWY 114
An officer located a wanted individual in the area. The individual was placed under arrest with a report later made.
2/15/2023 – 1200 block of Avenue C
An officer responded in reference to a suicidal juvenile.
2/14/2023 - 1700 block of 8th Street
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a disturbance. A male individual was placed under emergency detention and transported to Sunrise Canyon in Lubbock.
2/13/2023 - 8:30 AM - 900 block of Avenue A
Multiple officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a male individual who was stabbed. The victim was transported to a hospital and a report was taken for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
2/11/2023 - 11:08 AM - 600 block of 1st Street
Several officers arrived at a residence to serve a warrant. An arrest was made.
2/10/2023 - 8:37 PM - 500 block of A&M Lane
An officer responded to University Square apartments regarding a welfare check. The incident report states an unattended death at the complex.
2/7/2023 - 10:03 AM - 1200 block of Avenue D
An officer responded to a residence regarding criminal trespass. No arrests were made.
2/5/2023 - 10:12 AM - 1700 block of McKinley
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in regard to three unwanted individuals. After a field investigation, two individuals were arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail without incident.
2/5/2023 - 8 AM - 100 block of E Ellis Street
Officers were dispatched to a building in the area in reference to a burglary. After further investigation, it was determined that no items were taken, but the front door was damaged during the burglary.
2/5/2023 - 12:47 AM - 400 block of Avenue K
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a runaway. A report was made for a runaway and the juvenile was entered into the system.
2/4/2023 - 4:42 AM - 1700 block of McKinley
An officer was dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a suspicious person at the front door. Upon arrival, the officer located an intoxicated individual. After further investigation, the individual was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
2/3/2023 - 10:08 PM - 500 block of S College Avenue
Officers were dispatched to United Supermarket in reference to a suspicious male individual yelling and punching the air. The male individual was located and was issued a criminal trespass warning for that location. The individual was later arrested for failing to adhere to the warning.
