An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of E Highway 114 in reference to an accident. A report was generated with a description of reckless driving.
4/13/2023 - 1400 block of 11th Street
An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 1400 block of 12th street at approximately 10:45 p.m. for a defective brake tail lamp. The driver was arrested for the following charges: possession of a controlled substance less than one gram, possession of marijuana less than two ounces, obstruct retaliation and resisting arrest, search, or transport.
4/12/2023 - 1700 block of 8th Street
An officer responded to the 1700 block of 8th street. The report states a male was placed under an emergency detention.
4/12/2023 - Law Enforcement Center
An officer was advised by a detective to come to the Law Enforcement Center where a male subject was being interviewed. The male suspect had a warrant for theft of a firearm. The officer placed him under arrest for the warrant. The report states the male suspect resisted being searched and resisted being transported to the Hockley County Jail.
