4/21/2023 – 200 block of South College Avenue
An officer observed a male individual who had an active warrant for near the 200 block of South College Avenue around 7:15 p.m. The officer made contact with the male individual who later became combative. The report states the male individual was taken into custody for the following charges: an active warrant, intent to tamper or fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, resisting arrest search or transport and possession of marijuana less than two ounces. A female individual with the male was taken into custody for the following charges: assault of a public servant, intent to tamper or fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and resisting arrest, search or transport.
4/20/2023 – 1800 block of 9th Street
An officer arrived at a residence on the 1800 block of 9th street regarding a warrant service for a male individual at approximately 11:30 p.m. The individual was arrested for the warrant service and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group B between one and four grams.
4/20/2023 – 100 block of Avenue K
An officer responded to the 100 block of avenue K at approximately 7:57 p.m. regarding identity theft. A report was generated for information only.
4/19/2023 – 1200 block of Avenue K
An officer conducted a traffic stop on the 1200 block of avenue K at approximately 2:21. After a field investigation, one male individual was arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail. A report was generated that documented warrant service as the reason of the arrest.
4/18/2023 – 1400 block of 2nd Street
An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of 2 nd street in reference to a disturbance. The report listed an arrest for the offense of public intoxication.
4/17/2023 – 700 block of 10th Street
Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 10th street in reference of a Hispanic male getting down on the street. The male individual had went to the Law Enforcement Center and was taken to the Hockley County Jail for public intoxication.

An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of 9 th at approximately 2:13 a.m. in reference to a suicidal subject.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on the 300 block of avenue H on a vehicle driving dangerously. During the investigation, the officer located narcotics. The report states an arrest was made.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of 8 th street at approximately 9:27 a.m. in reference to criminal mischief. A report was taken for damage to a window and sheetrock.
4/13/2023 - 400 block of E Highway 114
An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of E Highway 114 in reference to an accident. A report was generated with a description of reckless driving.
4/13/2023 - 1400 block of 11th Street
An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 1400 block of 12th street at approximately 10:45 p.m. for a defective brake tail lamp. The driver was arrested for the following charges: possession of a controlled substance less than one gram, possession of marijuana less than two ounces, obstruct retaliation and resisting arrest, search, or transport.
4/12/2023 - 1700 block of 8th Street
An officer responded to the 1700 block of 8th street. The report states a male was placed under an emergency detention.
4/12/2023 - Law Enforcement Center
An officer was advised by a detective to come to the Law Enforcement Center where a male subject was being interviewed. The male suspect had a warrant for theft of a firearm. The officer placed him under arrest for the warrant. The report states the male suspect resisted being searched and resisted being transported to the Hockley County Jail.
