Early voting is underway for the current general election. The Hockley County elections office has released polling locations and sample ballots for the public. Sample ballots for the public to utilize were also included. Early Voting polls will be located at the Hockley County Elections Office at 911 Austin St. in Levelland for the General Election, as well as Whitharral School Board Special election from 8:30-5:30 from the 24th October through the 4th of November. Polls for the General Election will also be available in Anton and Sundown City Halls from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For Election Day, polls will be open at all 14 Hockley County locations from 7a.m to 7 p.m.

County Commissioner seat 4 for Hockley County will be on the ballot for Precincts 43,44,45, and 46. For the remainder of the ballots across the county, the ballot will cover state and federal positions. Whitharral ISD voters will have the chance to vote for four candidates for school board. The ballots will be available at the Hockley County Elections office for early voting, then at any precinct location any Whitharral ISD voter resides on election day.
For election day locations the precincts are as follows: Precinct 11 at Ridgecrest Missionarry Baptist Church located at 801 S. Alamo Rd., Levelland.
Precinct 14 is located at Ropesville City Hall, 107 Hockley Main, Ropesville.
Precinct 15 is located at Gary Cain Insurance Office, 3392 S. St. Rd 168, Smyer.
Precinct 16 is located at Christ United Methodist Church , 1704 S College Avenue, Levelland.
Precinct 21 is located at the Mallet Event Center, 2320 S Highway 385, Levelland.
Precinct 24 is located at Sundown High School, 511 E 7th Street, Sundown.
Precinct 32 is located at the Hockley County Tax Office, 624 Avenue H, Levelland.
Precinct 33 is located at Old Sanders Hardware Building, 3091 N St. Rd 303, Petit.
Precinct 35 is located at Cactus Drive Church of Christ, 501 Cactus Drive, Levelland.
Precinct 36 is located at Teaxas Health & Human Services, 904 8th Street, Levelland.
Precinct 43 is located at Whitharral Lions Club, 2nd Street and Highway 385, Whitharral.
Precinct 44 is located at the Anton Spade Hall, 400 Spade Circle, Anton.
Precinct 45 is located at the Lobo Football Stadium, Field House, 1406 E. Ellis, Levelland.
Precinct 46 is located at the Smyer Elementary School Library, 401 Lincloln Street, Smyer.
