A celebration of life for Billy Gene Richards, 63, of Lubbock, will be held as a private service for family only.
He passed away December 10, 2022, in Levelland, surrounded by his family.
Richard was born July 25, 1959, to Elizabeth Jane Leatherwood and Billy Gene Richards, Sr., in Lubbock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Richards, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Jane Leatherwood; a brother, Tim Leatherwood; and two nieces, Brittnay Snead and Lucy Smith.
Richard is survived by his step-dad, J.W. Leatherwood of Levelland; sister, Donna Leatherwood of Levelland; sister, Cindy and husband, Wayne Snead of Lubbock; nieces, Lola and husband, Luis Smith of Levelland and Cheyenne and husband, Kenny Miller of Lubbock; and nephew, D.J. and wife, Dana Snead of Lubbock.
