The Ropes Eagles had many players earn all-district awards this year for 2A-2 Region 1 District 4 Football.
The Ropes Eagles finished the year with a record of 6-5 finishing second in District only behind New Home. The team earned themselves plenty of awards due to their great play on the field and their dedication in the classroom as well.
The newcomer of the year was given to freshman athlete Kolter Dockery as well as Academic All-District.
1st team All District Utility Player for Ropes was fellow freshman Kaden Riker who earned Academic All-District.
First Team offense for the team were players Kade Franklin (Quarterback), Hayden Torres (Running back), Reese Williams (Receiver) and Braxxin Partington (Offensive Line).
Second Team Offense was Colton Mortenson (Tight End), Broxton Varnell and Reid McCaleb (Offensive Line).
First Team Defense for Ropes was Victor Saenz (Defensive Line) and Branson Beck (Safety).
Second Team Defense were players Broxton Varnell (Defensive Line), Jonathan Fowler (Outside Linebacker), Kanon Buckner (Inside Linebacker) and Reese Williams (Punter).
Honorable Mentions were players Mason Marmalajo, Reed Hyatt, Kanon Buckner, Ben Saldivar, Brady Bryan, Mike Sanchez and Branson Simental.
