As the new school year approaches, Levelland ISD has some important dates on the calendar.
LISD's first day of school is Aug. 19. School supply lists can be found at www.levellandisd.net/.
The annual Levelland ISD Meet & Greet will be held on July 13 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the LISD Board Room from 5 to 6 p.m.
Chromebook pickup for Levelland Middle School is Aug. 7 (6th grade), Aug. 11(7th grade) and Aug. 13 (8th grade).
Levelland ABC Back to school night will be held on Aug. 11 with A-K at 5:30 – 6 p.m.; L-S at 6-6:30 p.m.; and T-Z at 6:30-7 p.m.
Capitol Elementary back to school will be held on Aug. 18 with grades 2-3 at 5 to 6 p.m. and grades 4-5 at 6 to 7 p.m.
South Elementary back to school night is set for Aug. 18 with grades 2-3 at 5:30 to 6 p.m.; a parent meeting at 6 to 6:30 p.m.; and grades 4-5 at 6:30 to 7 p.m. Students are welcome to bring school supplies.
Levelland Middle School will have an Open House on Sept. 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Senior Summer Yearbook photos: LHS Yearbook Advisor Kelly Buckner announced that seniors have the option to go to the studio to have their school senior photos taken early at the studio on 50th Street. Anton ISD dates for enrollment: First day of school is Aug. 12.
Online enrollment opens through the ParentPortal on the school website on July 14.
Returning student registration will be held in the Elementary Library on July 28 from 8 a.m. to Noon, and 4 to 7 p.m.
New student registration will also be in the Elementary Library on July 29 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A volleyball parent meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on July 27 The 6th grade parents and students will meet in the Ropes Auditorium from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 3 Dual credit parents and students will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 6.
A junior class supper meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 6.
