The City of Smyer Aldermen are set to meet on June 9 to hear reports, award bids and consider resolutions.
Aldermen are expected to consider and approve a resolution accepting the Texas Water Development Board, Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Water System Improvements Project No. 62579 as constructed by Starks Construction Co., Inc.
Discussions are expected regarding rental properties, recording of council meetings, and the antenna for the Skada system at ground storage.
Additionally, aldermen are expected to consider and take action on the official ballot for the Texas Municipal League Health Benefits Pool (TML-Health) Board of Trustee election.
The council is expected to award bids for a 1988 Spartan FMC Fire Truck and 2006 Freightliner truck.
Concerning a Resolution delegating person(s) the authority to sign the depository/ authorized signature designation form for the City of Smyer’s General Fund is also on the agenda.
Reports on the fire department, the engineer report and financial report are also expect to be considered.
Aldermen are expected to conduct a budget work session for the upcoming fiscal year and schedule additional work sessions.
