South Plains Implement has announced the company has acquired Hurst Farm Supply, a John Deere dealership with seven locations throughout west Texas.
Moving forward, SPI will become a dealership with more than 20 locations with roughly 400 employees in towns such as Levelland, Abernathy, Ballinger, Big Spring, Brownfield, Crosbyton, Colorado City, Denver City, Lamesa, Littlefield, Lorenzo, Lubbock, Morton, San Angelo, Seminole, Slaton, Tahoka, Tornillo and Mesquite, NM. A press release from SPI says the acquisition helps in parts inventory, meeting equipment needs while also providing the opportunity to share their product knowledge.
Additionally, this opportunity will allow the company to build upon their already established traditions of focusing on customer relationships, work ethic and positive dealership experiences.
The press release states, “South Plains Implement will be a true combination of exemplary locations similar in culture and strengths that are highly complementary. Our combined attributes will enable us to provide a new and broader set of services to our customers throughout west Texas and New Mexico.”
