SPC Board of Regents holds Thurs. meeting

The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding their regular monthly meeting in the Board of Regents Meeting Room, Thursday, June 15 at 12:30 p.m.

Following the approval of minutes of the previous meeting, a report regarding employee survey’s will be given to the board.

The vice president for academic affairs will be giving the group an update regarding the truck driving school and the ALERRT Regional Training Center.

The vice president for student affairs will discuss Summer I enrollment.

The vice president for business affairs will offer their report that includes the tax office report, financial report, investment report and HEERF expenditures.

The vice president for institutional advancement will introduce the director of development who will talk about the scholarship scramble and give an update on the event.

The president’s report will include a construction update, legislative update, budget review and will bring an item to the board to discuss a revision of Policy B1B: the College President as the Executive Officer.

The president will also seek a decision from the board regarding the July 2023 meeting and discuss upcoming events concerning the college before adjourning.
