The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding a regular meeting November 10, at 10:30p.m. Meeting on the main campus in Levelland, the board will begin their monthly meeting with public comment and the approval of minutes for the prior regular meeting. The meeting agenda includes a section discussing an independent audit. Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Ryan Gibbs will be presenting a report regarding 2022 fall retirees. Vice President of Student Affairs, Stanley DeMerritt will give his monthly report that includes week eight census numbers, an emergency operations plan that will need approval and a report focusing on room and board charges for 2023-- 2024. Vice President for Business Affairs, Teresa Green will give her normal report that includes a tax office report, a financial report, a HEERF expenditure report and a resale of property report.

President of South Plains College, Dr. Robin Satterwhite will give his regular President’s Report which will include a construction report, a legislative update, fall graduation consideration and an update on the revision of SPC Policies and Procedures.
Additionally, the board will consider canceling regular the regular meeting on December 8, 2022.
President Satterwhite will also discuss upcoming events for the campus such as the Christmas Tree Lighting, the board Christmas dinner and the Fall Retirement Reception.
