The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding their monthly regular meeting Thursday, October 12, at 12:30 p.m. in the Board of Regents Room located in the Administration Building.
Following public comment and approval of minutes of the prior meeting, each respective vice president of their department will give updates to the regents. The items for the meeting is as follows: Vice President for Student Affairs Stan DeMerritt will be presenting the Fall 2023 Census Enrollment Figures, Title IX 20222023 Quarter 4 Report, SPC 2022 Annual Campus Security Report and 2020 Official Three-Year CDR Report.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Ryan Gibs will be presenting the results of the SACSCOC on-site visit.
Vice President for Business Affairs Teresa Green will be presenting a Financial Report, Property Tax Report, Quarterly Investment Report and Resale of Property.
Vice President for Institutional Advancement Julie Gerstenberger will be discussing the Annual Scholarship Banquet and Distinguished Alumni Celebration.
South Plains College President Robin Satterwhite will be giving the board a construction update, discussing Spring tuition and fees, offering an update on HB 8 and FAST Programs, an update on the Economic Impact Report, discussing the SPC Reese Campus and touching on upcoming campus activities and events.
