The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding their monthly meeting, Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the Administration building at the Levelland campus.
The board will begin the meeting with any public comment requests followed by the approval of the minutes from the previous meeting.
The board will be introduced to the Texan Mosaic.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs Ryan Gibbs will give an SACSCOC Decennial Review update to the board.
Vice President for Student Affairs Stan DeMerritt will begin his portion of the meeting with a Spring 2023 Census Day Enrollment followed by a Spring 2023 Housing Occupancy and Senior Sneak Preview Day.
Vice President for Business Affairs Teresa Green will be giving her Tax Office Report, Financial Report, FEERF Expenditures, Resolution of Investment Policy Report and resale of property.
The meeting will conclude with a the regular president’s report from SPC President Robbin Satterwhite.
Dr. Satterwhite will be giving the board a construction and legislative update, along with proposing the board consider adopting a board policy BCG: Board Self Evaluation.
Additionally, he will propose revising board policy BIB: The College President as Executive Officer.
A resolution for support of the Texas Commission on Community College Finance recommendations will be proposed.
An update on the Scholarship Gala will be given.
Approval of auction naming rights for the Drive North of Administration Building will be be addressed.
An additional update will be given for the Region V Basketball Tournament.
