South Plains College theatre students will perform Greater Tuna from Sept. 23-25 at the Helen DeVitt Jones Theater on the Levelland campus.
Reservations for the free show, which will start at 7:30 p.m. each day, are encouraged. Attendees will witness a satirical comedy that showcases the lives of Texas’ third-smallest town: Tuna.
Led by SPC Theatre Director April Langehennig, SPC students and staff will showcase the hilarious minds of Greater Tuna producers Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard.
“One of the best benefits of a great satirical comedy, like Greater Tuna, is its ability to draw attention to things we as a society need to change or have changed in a way that keeps the heart and mind open,” Langehennig said. “Please join us for South Plains College Theatre’s production of this piece.”
