The Sundown City Council will hold a regular meeting Tuesday in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. The City Council will consider, deliberate and act upon several agenda items. Mayor Jonathan Strickland will give a statement regarding appropriate conduct at City Council meetings. Citizen appearances include a PWS update, library update and PD update. The City Council will approve the minutes of the August 8, 15 and 22 regular meetings. Action items include Ordinance No. 587 Gas and Garbage Increase, ballots for TML Board and TMP-IRP Board elections, TML officer nomination for region three, Cemetary rules, costs for plots and animal permit for Jose Hernandez, 1601 Hockley, Sundown, TX. The City Council wil review payables for the month of August.
The City Administrator will report to City Council on current city projects including the Water Main project, SPAG Grant and City Admin Evaluation form.
