A regular meeting of the City of Sundown city council will be held on July 14 at city hall at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is expected to include a statement from the mayor regarding appropriate conduct at city meetings, a budget work session, as well as citizen appearances.
Discussion items on the agenda include the Library eSports Pilot program, parking lot Butterfly Program and End of Summer Program.
Other discussions are expected concerning the PWS seal coat and street sweeper; police department Oil Patch security; and fire department updates and 1/2 Way Built Point – Travel to Visit.
A discussion from city hall is expected concerning cyber security and AI training that was set for July 9, and CD renewal. Action items include considering and taking necessary action on public comments on the 2025 Consumer Confidence Report and reviewing and approving the Quarterly Financial and Investment Reports.
The city administers reports is expected to include the City Wide Clean Up on July 17-24; Oil Patch Days on Aug. 8; ordinance work-TCG; Skill Machines attorney update; and Roland Rodriguez update.
