Sundown City Council sets meeting Tuesday

    The Sundown City Council will be holding a regular meeting Tuesday, January 9 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.

    The following agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: Department updates including public works, library, police and fire; Approve minutes of the regular meeting held December 12, 2023; Order of Election for the position of mayor and two positions within the council; Discussion of Resolution 179 - Government Capital-PWS Vehicle Financing Contract; Discussion of the quarterly financial and investment reports; Approve payment for the monthly expenditures; and Discussion regarding city administrator report and current projects.
