How can I possibly add more? I have no wisdom or advice, and no answers come from my efforts. I miss the mark every day, just as every human does.
Scripture tells us clearly: 'There is none righteous, no, not one.' Romans 3:10 (MEV) So, what can we do to find favor with God? Nothing.
How can we be good enough to enter Heaven? We cannot.
What if we obey all the commandments?
Keeping the law is good and right; God still desires us to live according to His ways. However, the law does not provide salvation. Instead, it reveals our inability to achieve righteousness on our own.
Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
In the book of Revelation, we see a profound moment where no one was found worthy to open the seals of God's plan, no one except Jesus: ' Then one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.' (Revelation 5:5 (MEV) Why only Him? Because He is the spotless Lamb, without blemish or sin. While we are tainted and flawed, Jesus is perfect. He lived the life we could not and paid the price we owed.
There is only One who is worthy: Jesus. It's not about what we can do but what He has already done. Rest in His finished work and let your faith in Him be your hope and salvation.
