Anton ISD 3rd-5th grade students had the opportunity to visit Caprock Canyon State Park on a field trip this past where Park Ranger Natalie who helps manage and monitor natural resources, provide visitor services, maintain trails and facilities, and support educational programs. LISD on Monday celebrated Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a cherished Mexican tradition where families honor and remember their loved ones who have passed away. LHS art students created Sugar Skull, a symbol of the celebration that represent the joy, personality and spirit as a reminder of life and death are an ongoing story, inspired by art teacher Kristy Kristinek. Robyn Parkinson, LISD school counselor, was honored as the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension - Hockley County 2025 Distinguished Leader and Salute to Excellence winner.
