COLLEGE STATION — As Texans prepare to celebrate Memorial Day—the unofficial kickoff to summer—Texas A&M Forest Service urges everyone to take proactive steps in preventing wildfire ignitions.

Water meter replacement project continues, new policy considered

The water meter replacement project continues for the City of Levelland as the Council approved their next payment request from AMERESCO in the amount of $89,948.19.There have been roughly 1,494 meters installed as of May 15.

South Plains College Regents recognizes fall, spring retirees

As South Plains College has wrapped up their spring semester, the Board of Regents were updated during their May meeting with employee retirements and curriculum changes.Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ryan Gibbs highlighted this years’ service awards.
