LEVELLAND – Jimmy Stratton, who has dedicated 17 years at South Plains College to supporting students in and outside the welding discipline, was recognized with the college’s highest faculty honor.

The Texas Department of State Health Services is reporting an outbreak of measles in the South Plains and Panhandle regions of Texas.As of May 16, 718 cases have been identified since late January. Ninety-three of the patients have been hospitalized. This is an increase of 1 since the May 13 update.
