SPC hosts annual Miss Caprock Scholarship Pageant set Nov. 22

South Plains College will host the 66th annual Miss Caprock Scholarship Pageant at 7 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the Tom T. Hall Production Studio on the Levelland campus.The pageant winner will receive a $750 SPC scholarship, and the runner-up will receive a $500 SPC scholarship.

PUCT approves plan aimed toward strengthening systems

The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) approved the first plan submitted by an electric utility to strengthen the resiliency of its electric systems and facilities and protect Texans against natural disasters and other threats.
