GAS LEAK - The Levelland Fire Department, Levelland and Hockley County Emergency Management, Levelland Police Department and Atmos Energy had personnel responding to a gas leak located on Avenue A between 11th and 12th Street. The line that was found to be leaking was scheduled to be shutoff on Tuesday, Sept. 17. However, with the detection of the leak, the crews shutoff the old line a day ahead of schedule. TOWN HALL TOUR - Texas Representative of District 88, Ken King spoke at Levelland’s City Hall Wednesday morning to address priorities and answer audience questions about the upcoming legislative session.
