The Railroad Commission has recently published new rules regarding oilfield waste.Known in the industry vernacular as rule 8, the Railroad Commission seeks to update and strengthen rules regarding waste pits for oil and gas operators statewide.

8/28/2024 – DISPATCHED 1:47 P.M. – CLEARED – 2:50 P.M. –HOCKLEYCOUNTYThe Levelland Fire Department was dispatched to a yard fire near the 6000 block of Elephant Road. Upon arrival, the units worked to extinguish remaining fire and hot spots.

Some City Bank customers have recently received fraudulent calls from individuals pretending to be from the City Bank Fraud Center.These imposters claim to be resolving a fraudulent transaction and will request your secure access code or VP token security code to gain access to your account.
