State sales tax sees slight increase for December

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced that state sales tax revenue totaled $4.06 billion in December, 3.2% more more than in December 2022. The majority of December sales tax revenue is based on sales made in November and remitted to the agency in December.
