From the start of the game Whitharral took full control of the game early as they were able to outscore Motley County 23-9, taking a 14-point lead going into the second quarter of the game.
For the second quarter it was closer as Whitharral scored another 15 points while they held The Whitharral Lady Panthers took on the Motley County Lady Matadors this past Friday night in the Area Round of the playoffs where the Lady Panthers won 65-26 to move onto the Regional Semi-Finals Round.
the Lady Matadors to just six points, making the score 38-15, going into the halftime break.
Leading the Lady Panthers in scoring at the half was Paige Smith with 16 points, seven of them in the first quarter.
Out of the halftime break the Lady Panthers was suffocating as they were able to win the quarter 14-2 almost holding Motley County scoreless and making the score 52-17 heading into the final quarter of the game.
For the fourth quarter of the game, Whitharral was still able to outscore Motley County and put the game away and take the playoff win to continue on their run.
Smith led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 35 points throughout the night. Madison Chavez had 14 points, Rylee Kristinek had seven points, Sheridan Neal had five and Valeria Frias finished with four points in their contest.
The Whitharral Lady Panthers improve to 24-7 on the season as they took on the Texline Lady Tornadoes this past Tuesday night in Vega for the Regional Semi-Finals Round of playoffs.
