Loboettes blow past Lady Patriots

The Levelland Loboettes added another district win after hosting and run ruling the Liberty Lady Patriots Tuesday, 16-1.

The Loboettes would wrap up the game in three innings. The Levelland bats would start the scoring party in the bottom of the first with 15 runs. Levelland would churn through their batting lineup twice in the first scoring on a Delany Delgado homerun, one triple, six doubles, five singles, two walks and two hit batters.

Levelland would add one more run in the second, while Liberty would score one run in the top of the third.

Levelland’s offense would score 16 runs on 15 hits and would not commit a single error, while Liberty would score one run on four hits and would commit just one error.

Danica Rivera would get the win for Levelland throwing three complete innings. Rivera would allow one earned run on four hits and five strikeouts.

The Loboettes improve to 233-1 on the year and improve in district to a 4-1 record.

Following Tuesday’s games, Levelland would sit in second place in district while Snyder is in first place with a 5-0 record.

Big Spring is in third place at 3-2 and Lakeview is in fourth place at 2-3.

Liberty is in fifth place at 1-4 and Estacado is in sixth place at 05.

For Friday’s games (April 4) , Levelland traveled to Big Spring, Liberty went to Estacado and Lakeview traveled to Snyder.

For the upcoming Tuesday games (April 8), Levelland will host Snyder, Liberty will host Big Spring and Lakeview will host Estacado.
