Today, how shall I serve the Lord and bless? His love and kindness greet me ev’ry morn I want to share His loving tenderness With weary ones who by the world are worn But aging has reduced what I can do. Distractions on my phone will tempt my mind. They harness thoughts and peacefulness eschew. Until a Bible verse helps to unwind Today, technology’s too hard to sever. I daily read the Bible now online. The Spirit always guides in this endeavor. But use of apps I know I must refine Perhaps a greater gift would be a call. Or meet in person just to walk and talk. Remaining days I have - God holds them all I need not fear the ticking of the clock In all things real or out in cyberspace. May gifts of time be used to cheer a soul I pray the Spirit veers my thoughts to grace. To share God’s love is always a good goal
