80th Pep Thanksgiving sausage sale set for Nov. 26

They were awarded the Junior League of Lubbock Award for donating items to the Lubbock house for 25+ years. Every year the 4th grade class goes to the House, takes a tour to learn more about RMHC and what they do. The large donation of items are used throughout the year to serve the families.     St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Pep will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving Sausage Sale on Nov. 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    A selection of Pep’s famous German sausage, breakfast sausage, sauerkraut, homemade bread and desserts will be available for purchase in the Parish Hall. T-shirts and other items will also be for sale.

    All proceeds from the event will benefit the church. There will be a 50/50 raffle drawing at 5 p.m. Raffle tickets are $5 per ticket or $20 for five. Winner gets half the money collected and need not be present to win.

    Organizers are requesting the donation of canning jars.

    Pep is located in northeastern Hockley County and the Parish Hall is on FM 303 & St. Philips Road in Pep.

    There will be no Pep Thanksgiving Day meal this year.
