Nancy Ann Hinson, age 85, passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2026 in the comforts of her home surrounded by her loved ones. Services were held on Monday May 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sundown. Pastor Randy Winfrey officated.
Pallbearers were Ayden Zarate, A.J. Zarate, Tanner Auldridge, Layton Hinson, Bryce Hinson, Stacy Redden Honorary pallbearer was Maddox Zarate. Interment followed in the City of Su ndown Cemetery in Sundown, Texas. Viewing and Reflections of Life were held Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 9:00am until 9:00 pm at the Head Duarte Funeral Chapel in Levelland.
She is survived by her spouse of 25 years: Danny Meadows of Levelland, sons: Ronald “Ron” Lee (Marsha) Ragland of San Antonio, Jerry Bob Hinson of Levelland, Burie Joe (Teresa) Hinson of Lubbock; grandchildren: Joshua Bryce Hinson, Sara Zarate, Serria Adams, Destiny Baeza, Layton Hinson and Allison Hinson Auldridge,a host of great-grandchildren; brothers: Benny Carter of Levelland and Billy Carter and Travis Carter both of Sundown.
