Police Report

Around 3 a.m. Saturday officers responded to a call at the 200 block of Hicks Place in reference to a welfare check. After conducting a field investigation, one individual was taken to Sunrise Canyon. Around 1:30 a.m. last Tuesday, officers responded to the 100 block of County Road after the Hockley County Sheriff’s office requested a canine. The canine conducted a sniff-around the vehicle and provided a positive response. A probable cause search resulted in narcotics being discovered and both individuals were placed under arrest.

Around 9:30 a.m. last Tuesday, officers executed a felony warrant in the 1300 block of South College Avenue. The individual was taken into custody without issue for an active warrant for Burglary of Habitation-Bond Surrender.

Around 11 a.m. last Tuesday, officers observed an individual who was wanted and conducted a traffic stop on the 600 block of South College Avenue. The individual was placed under arrest without issue. Around 1:50 a.m. last Monday, officers responded to the 1700 block of McKinley Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers generated a report for the incident.
