PhytoGen will be hosting two field tours for growers Thursday, August 25, and Friday, August 26. The Texas Department of Agriculture Applicator Drift Minimization will give one credit; Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) Soil and Water will give 0.5 continuing education units; CCA Integrated Pest Management will give 1.5 continuing education units and CCA Crop Management will give one continuing education units for all participants attending the tours.
The tour will start at 9 a.m.
Thursday, August 25, followed by lunch at Cook’s Garage, located at 11002 US-87 d, Lubbock.
The Friday, August 26, field day will begin with lunch at Cook’s, followed by 1:30 p.m. tour.
The tours consist of Enlist system demos, variety trials showcase and a session on the new trait package offering tolerance to 2,4-D and glufosinate, for use with Enlist One herbicide.
