The Ag Committee will be recognizing its Ag Professional during its annual Shrimp Boil event to be held Wednesday, September 21. Qualifications and guidelines are as follows to nominate a candidate: –Involvement in or support (prefer membership) of the Chamber of Commerce; –Active contributing member of agriculture industry; –Active in other civic and community organizations or events; –Citizen of Hockley County or business located in Hockley County;
–Dedicates time and talens on behalf of community; and –Outstanding in character and dependability. Applications are due on or before Wednesday, September 7.
