Mary Katherine “Katie” Fleenor Webb, 88, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, formerly of Morton, passed away August 11, 2022. She was born February 4, 1934, to Dennis and Ruby Robertson Fleenor, in Lockney.
Mary Katherine graduated from Morton High School, Class of 1951.
She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mary Katherine married Billy Joe Webb April 26, 1951, in Morton. They farmed poultry and raised cattle for more than 30 years in Oden, Arkensas. Mary Katherine was an avid seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Joe Webb, in October, 2021; a brother, Eugene “Gene” Fleenor, in 2021; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Cotton Fleenor, in 2019.
Mary Katherine is survived by her daughter, Kathie Jo Y’Barbo and husband, Larry, of Mt Pleasant; son, Jimmy Lynn Webb and wife, Sharon, of Springfield, Ohio; brother, Frank Fleenor of San Antonio; sister, Doris ”Dee” Fleenor Flatt and husband, Eddie, of Lubbock; and sister-in-law, Nita Fleenor of Lubbock.
She also leaves behind beloved grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great- greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
