The Progressive Women’s Club met Wednesday, September 26, in the home of Lindy Williams.
Members were updated on the plans for the Christmas Home Tour, scheduled for Monday, December 5.
Progressive members expressed their excitement when hearing the Christmas Home Tour will be held once again for the first time since the epidemic. Plans are also underway for the Casserole Fundraiser to be held Tuesday, October 25.
The program was presented by Levelland’s Main Street Director Tania Moody. Moddy informed the members of the demographics for the Cit of Levelland. She explained and broke down the four categories: Traditional Living, Economic Bedrock, Comfortable Emptynesters and Southwestern families.
Moody also spoke about all the new appealing things happening in Downtown Levelland, such as the flower baskets and custom made mosaic handrails and now offering walking trails for those wanting to learn about the history of the downtown area. She closed with explaining the new projects currently in the planning stages for the future.
