The City of Levelland reported $2.5 million in building permits for the month of September, bringing the total amount for building permits through September 22, 2022, to $17.2million. In September, the city awarded a total of 60 permits, bringing the total permits for the year to 368. There was one permit issued for a mobile home, five for singlefamily homes, three certificates of occupancy and 48 other permits issued. There were seven structures demolished for the month of September. For the year, there have been a total of seven water connections put in place along with 25 structures demolished.
