The South Plains College Board of Regents has set a regular meeting for Thursday at 12:30p.m. After holding prayer, public comment and approve the minutes of the prior meeting, each vice president will give an update along with the president. Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Stan DeMerritt will present a Fall 2022 report containing census enrollment figures and census housing occupancy. Additionally, there will be a Title IX 2021-2022 Quarter Four report, SPC 2021 Annual Campus Security report and a 2019 Official Three-Year CDR report. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Chairperson Dr. Ryan Gibbs will give an update on the EDA Public Works and Economic Assistance Grant. Vice President for Business Affairs Teresa Green will have a financial report, property tax report, quarterly investment report, HEERF expenditures report and a resale of property update.
Vice President for Institutional Advancement Julie Gerstenberger is set to present resolutions honoring distinguished alumni. President, chairperson Dr. Robin Satterwhite will have a president’s report containing a construction update, legislative update, consideration of dual credit tuition and consideration of building use fee. Additionally, Dr. Satterwhite will discuss upcoming activities.
The board will break into executive session then reconvene for open meeting before adjourning.
