10/13/2022 – Dispatch 10:05 AM – Cleared 1:16 PM – 1800 N US Highway385,HockleyCounty The LFD received a call in reference to a motor vehicle accident in the area. Levelland EMS and Sheriff’s Office deputies were also dispatched. Fire personnel assisted EMS with two patients as remaining personnel assisted in setting up a safe landing zone on the highway for Aerocare. Personnel remained on scene to assist in keeping the roadway safe for law enforcement investigators.
10/13/2022 – Dispatch 8:16 AM – Cleared 8:25 PM – 200 block of AvenueX The LFD received a call in reference to smoke west of the City Park. Units responded to the call located the smoke as it was a controlled burn that had not been called in.
10/13/2022 – Dispatch 12:03 AM – Cleared 12:15 PM – 200 block ofTanglewoodLN Prior to arrival, police units responding to the call detailed an individual was burning wood in the front yard. The individual was advised no controlled burns were allowed inside city limits.
10/12/2022 – Dispatch 9:35 PM – Cleared 9:50 PM – 200 block of SandalwoodStreet Caller from the area claimed there was a smell of smoke outside in the air and requested someone check the area. Units drove throughout the area of the Country Club with no visible smoke or fire being found.
10/6/2022 – Dispatch 7:17 PM – Cleared 7:37 PM – 500 block of E Highway114 The LFD received reports of a gas order at a restaurant. Upon arrival, there was no gas present. Fire Personnel contacted the restaurant manager. Fire crew was advised an individual had come into the business earlier and worked on plumbing. Nothing was detected and all units were cleared.
