Isaiah Segura, 17, was indicted for intentionally and knowingly damaging or destroying tangible property. On or about the third of May, Segura damaged or destroyed the Bartlett Park Memorial located in the 1000 block of Sherman Avenue by painting the memorial without the effective consent of the City of Levelland. Additionally, Segura damaged or destroyed the lights to the memorial by painting and/ or breaking the lights. The amount of the lost in property resulting from the damages was decided to be between $2,500 and $30,000.
Segura was also indicted in three additional counts of intentionally and knowingly making markings on tangible property causing pecuniary loss of $2,500 or more but less than $30,000 to the real property owners.
The second count had the City of Levelland as the real property owners while Duncan Disposal was listed in the third count and Republic Service was the listed property owner in the fourth count.
Segura was indicted on a fifth count for intentionally and knowingly making markings on tangible property of Betty Freeman causing loss between the amount of $750 and $2,500.
Jeremy Lee Oberlechner, 42, intentionally and knowingly caused bodily injury to an individual 65-years of age or older by pushing and/or shoving, on or about March 28. An enhancement stated Oberlechner was convicted for the felony offense of aggravated assault on a public servant on or about September 16, 2004, in the 286th District Court of Hockley County. Judy Cirilo, 37, on or about January 20, the defendant knowingly possessed, with the intent to deliver, a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, in the amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams. Additionally, the defendant knowingly possessed a usable quantity of marijuana in an amount of five pounds or less but more than four ounces. Bond for Cirilo was set at $20,000. An enhancement states the defendant had been convicted for the felony offense of the manufacturing or deliver of a controlled substance on July 11, 2016, in the 286th District Court of Hockley County. Anivar Corterz Jr., 19, on or about June 3, knowingly discharged a firearm at or in the direction of two individuals. It was further presented that Cortes exhibited a deadly weapon, a firearm, in a manner of its use or intended use was capable of causing death or serious bodily injury. Bond was set at $10,000.
Pedro Garcia, 61, on or about July 30, the defendant knowingly possessed, with the intent to deliver, a controlled substance, namely cocaine, in the amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams. A second count was stated Garcia operated a motor vehicle in a public place while the defendant was intoxicated. It was further presented that the defendant had been previously convicted for the offense of driving while intoxicated on or about June 10, 1985. Daniel Abraham Garza, 21, on or about July 25, intentionally fled from a person the defendant knew was a peace officer who was attempting to lawfully arrest or detain the defendant. Bond was set at $6,000. Brandon Gene Hopper, 35, on or about December 11, 2021, knowingly possessed, with the intent to deliver, a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, in the amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams. Bond was set at $2,000. Gary Frank Lopez, 39, on or about September 7, had the intent to commit theft of a controlled substance, enter a commercial building in which the controlled substance was stored. The defendant did so without the effective consent of the owner of the building. A second count stated the defending attempted to commit or committed theft of property namely a wagon, edger, weed eater, power washer, rake, painting supplies and painting tools owned by a second individual in the same commercial building. A third count stated the defendant unlawfully appropriated the mention items that were valued between $750 and $2,500 without the effective consent of the owner, with the intent to deprive the owner of the property. Bond was set at $5,000.
Gary Frank Lopez, 39, on or about September 2, unlawfully appropriate, by acquiring or otherwise exercising control over, property, namely a 2002 Caterpillar 216B Skid steer with a value more than $2,500 but less than $30,000 without the effective consent of the owner and the intent to deprive the owner of the property. An additional count stated the defendant intentionally and knowingly damaged or destroyed tangible property, namely the date, by driving through the gat without the effective consent of the owner of the property. The loss is more than $2,500 but less than $30,000 to the owner. Bond was set at $15,000.
Daniel Hernandez Martinez, 39, on or about April 25, the defendant intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, in an amount of one gram or more but less than four grams. Bond was set at $10,000.
Darryl Steven Martinez, 23, on or about May 5, the defendant unlawfully acquired or exercised control over, property, namely a firearm from an individual who is the owner without the effective consent, with the intent to deprive the owner of the property.
Linda Pilar Martinez, 20, on or about January 2, the defendant was intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance namely methamphetamine in an amount more than one gram and less than four grams.
A second count stated the defendant possessed a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine in an amount less than one gram, on or about February 16.
The third count states the defendant possessed a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine in the amount of less than one gram, on or about August 1. Bond was set at $4,000.
Jose Marquez, 36, on or about May 24, the defendant intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine in an amount less than one gram. Bond was set at $6,000.
George Madrid Navarrette, 47, on or about October 22, 2021, the defendant intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, namely methamphetamine in an amount of four grams or more but less than two hundred grams.
A second count states the defendant intentionally and knowingly possessed a firearm before the fifth anniversary of the defendant’s release from confinement, on or about May 30, 2019.
The third count states that on or about October 22, the defendant having been convicted of the felony offense of burglary of a building.
A fourth count states the defendant knowingly possessed a usable quantity of marijuana in an amount of five pounds or less but more than four ounces. Bond was set at $10,000.
Juan Luis Quezeda, 32, on or about February 12, intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, namely methamphetamine in an amount of four grams or more but less than two hundred grams. Bond was set at $8,000.
Christian Joha Ramos-Hernandez, 21, intentionally fled from a person the defendant knew was a peace officer who was attempting to lawfully to arrest or detain the defendant. Bond was set at $5,000.
Adrianna Rogers, 23, on or about September 16, the defendant operated a motor vehicle in a public place while the defendant was intoxicated, and the vehicle was occupied by a passenger who was younger than 15 years of age. Bond was set at $5,000.
Joeie Len Romine, 59, on or about May 16, the defendant intentionally and knowingly operated a motor vehicle without the effective consent of the owner. Bond was set at $3,000.
Hagan Shnae Scott, 30, on or about December 6, 2021, the defendant intentionally and knowingly caused bodily injury to an individual 65-years of age or older by striking the individual by hand and choking, and/or grabbing the neck of the individual.
A second count stated the defendant intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly impeded the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of the complainant by applying pressure to the throat or neck.
Rebecca Denice Taylor, 38, on or about August 2, the defendant knowingly and intentionally operated a motor-propelled vehicle, namely an automobile, without the effective consent of the owner. Bond was set at $10,000.
Jonathan Lee Zapata, 41, on or about April 30, 2020, the defendant intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly caused bodily injury to an individual. The defendant intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly impeded the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of the complainant by applying pressure to the throat or neck of the complainant.
A second count stated the defendant intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly caused bodily injury to a member of the defendant’s household or a person with whom the defendant has or had a dating relationship by poking the complainant in the face and/or by choking the complainant.
Jonathan Lee Zapata, 41, on or about May 27, the defendant intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly caused bodily injury to a member of the defendant’s family by striking the individual in the head.
A second count stated the defendant intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly caused bodily injury to a member of the defendant’s family by throwing and/or shoving the individual to the ground.
