Florence Waters was born on September 13, 1924, in Dew, Texas, the youngest of six children of Wesley and Lydia Curry Stewart.
She married Clarence E. Waters October 18, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana, prior to his deployment to Europe during WW II.
After the war, Florence and Clarence made their home in Levelland, where she resided until her passing October 18, 2022.
The surviving family members are her oldest son, Lynn Waters (Amy); grandsons: Landon Waters(Caleigh) and Derek Waters (Morgan), both of Lubbock, Darren Waters(Tammie) of Midland, Branon Waters of San Angelo and Brady Waters (Jenny) of Murphy, Texas; three great- grandsons; seven great- granddaughters; and one great- great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; spouse and a son, Larry Waters.
Private services were held at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
