10/19/2022 – 9:50 PM – 100 block of Lee Street Officers observed an individual operating a bicycle with no lights which is against the Texas Transportation Code Safety Equipment. After conducting a field investigation, the individual was placed under arrest for a local warrant, resisting arrest search or transport and credit card, debit card abuse.
10/18/2022 – 10:30 PM – 300 block of Walnut Street Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a disturbance. A report was later generated.
10/16/2022 – 8:15 AM – 300 block of Walnut Street Officers responded to the area in reference to a runaway. The juvenile was entered into the Texas Crime Information Center and the National Information Center.
10/16/2022 – 3:45 AM – 1800 block of 9th Street Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a disturbance of someone yelling. Once contact was made, an individual wanted to report an assault. A report was taken for the incident.
10/16/2022 – 4:55 AM – 1900 block of S College An officer was dispatched to the Covenant Medical Center Emergency Department in reference to a suicidal subject. Once evaluated by a crisis team member, the individual was transported to Sunrise clinic.
10/16/2022 – 1:10 AM – 100 block of 11th Street An officer assisting a fellow officer in another location hear a female screaming in the 100 block of 11th Street. Upon arrival, the officer observed two male individuals fighting. After conducting a field investigation, one of the male individuals was placed under arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Hockley County Jail.
10/15/2022 – 3:30 PM – 1200 block of S Sherman Avenue An LPD officer conducted a traffic stop in the area for a warrant service. The subject was placed under arrest without incident.
10/12/2022 – 10:20 PM – 500 block of Hickory Street Officers were dispatched to the are in reference to a suspicious person. A arrest and report were later generated.
10/11/2022 – 2:20 PM – 200 block of Oak Street An officer received a call to meet an individual at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a physical disturbance. A report was generated for assault family violence.
