Levelland ISD will be hosting its National Red Ribbon Week celebration from October 24 through October 28. The daily events are as
follows: –Monday, October 24, “We are ‘red’y to say no to drugs;” students are encouraged to wear the color red; –Tuesday, October 25, “Spot me being drug free!;” students are encouraged to wear polka dots; –Wednesday, October 26, “Team up against drugs!;” students are encouraged to wear sports gear or a jersey of their favorite team; –Thursday, October 27, “Being drug free is no sweat!;” students can wear sweat pants; and –Friday, October 28, “Drugs won’t spook me!” students can wear a costume.
LISD campuses will dismiss at noon Friday, October 28, and there will be no school Monday, October 31. All campuses will return at normal time Tuesday, November 1.
